About the source code
The
Fast Email Extractor is written mostly in Visual Basic 6.0 . Reusing of the source
code requires some knowledge of Visual Basic. Please pay attention
that customization of the source code is not provided by Lencom for
free.
The following examples describe the typical
tasks of the product and user's actions.
Example 1
Task description: I need to
find emails of Russia's real estate agencies.
Actions : I
specify 'Russia real estate agency and press button 'search'
Example 2. Task Description: I have a
list of URLs in Access database and I need extract the emails from
them.
Actions : I export URLs as text file without text
qualifier(none). Using button 'Load' I load saved URLs.
Example 3. Task Description: I need extract
emails from 'www.lencom.com'
Actions : Instead of 'Add web site
here' I specify 'www.lencom.com' (please note 'lencom.com' is not
enough') and press button 'Go'.
Example 4: Task description: Extractor
brings unrelated emails. I need narrow search area. How to do it?
Actions : I go to selected search engine (www.yahoo.com) and
experimenting with key words narrow my search results. I specify the
same key words for the extractor.
Example 5. Task description: I have a
directory with 1300 txt files in and I need to extract from them all
emails that contain 'aol' .
Actions : I go to 'Get email from
files' tab , I select my directory and specify "*.txt" mask , then I
check 'Only emails that contain' and specify my filter 'aol' and
press button 'Search'
